Virginia Department of Health reported 44,607 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, an increase of 2,074 cases since Friday’s update. There are 1,375 deaths, 17 more than on Friday, and 1,458 people who are positive or have test results pending are hospitalized in the state, according to the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association.
